first thing to do after solah subuh (dawn prayer) in eid al adha and eid al fitr is, we go to a mosque for solah specially for that day..
cleanness is one part of faith for a Muslim, usually we wear new cloth on this day,..
as for me who live in Malaysia, we seek forgiveness to each other..the younger do it first.. ;p and we greet relatives and neighbors who come to our house.. ;)
and not to forget, special delicacies.. ;)

Islam is simple Islam is avoiding luxurious life.During Ramadhan we are fasting since dawn up to sun sets.At night we pray together in the mosque and read Qur'an.At eidl fitr we are praying together in the mosques or fields and then after praying we shake hands among family members, neigh bours, relatives and friends and treated the guests with special foods and cakes..In iedl adha we pray together also in the mosques or fields, hearing preches for about half an hour. After that we the rich slaughtered the cows or goats and its meats are distributed to the poor.
On the islamic newe year Muharram 1 we celebrate it with preaches .

It depends where you are. Muslims first go pray together and sometimes have an activity planned like a big picnic and games at the park. Family and friends give gifts and go to each other houses. Many families also decorate their homes with lights or whatever, but no tree, it's still not christmas. But It's kinda like muslims have 2 christmas because they get gifts for 2 holidays. It's whatever you make it.
