IF so, what happened? and if not, why not? Isn't God capable of causing an amputee to spontaneously regrow a limb?

This has never ever happened. If it had it would make headline news and Christians would use it as proof for Miracles. I would have to believe in Miracles if such a thing happened. I doubt it ever will though. They prefer to heal other less easily proven illness.

Nope, never happened, not ever. This is what I said in a similar question earlier today: "If they tell you prayer works and tell you how they've seen it in their lives, ask them why God has never regrown a limb for an amputee. It's always hilarious to watch them dance around that one. If they say those people didn't have enough faith, remind them that Jesus said if you have faith the size of a mustard seed you can move mountains. If they say God doesn't always give you what want but what you need, remind them that Jesus said ask and you shall receive. If they say that God uses suffering to teach us a lesson, remind them that Jesus said 'what man of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?'"

I know of Two Real Storys.

1. They Laid hands on this Woman with a Leg Shorter than the Other---it Grew Out about an Inch. (I actually worked with this Man on a Job long ago)

2. Kenneth Copeland laid hands on this little baby with Twisted Legs---the Legs Straightened Out.

Really Don't Care if Anybody Else Believes these.
I Do.

Thanky Jesus!

You'd think that God would know what that person needed before anybody asked for it, wouldn't you? In fact, there's a scripture verse that goes: Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Mother knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask her. Mat. 6:8

So why would anyone need to do anything at all? God should just snap Her fingers and make the guy or gal whole again. Unless She just likes to watch the poor little humanoids bow down and propitiate to her just for laughs.

I've seen tarantulas regrow lost limbs several times. But I didn't pray for it to happen, so what does that mean?

God is capable of restoring our health, You can do it too. It is also a collective sin issue in the world that hinders our access to the power of God. In heaven we get new bodies.

This is why atheists say faith is stupid.

Seriously, miracles do happen, but come on! Sometimes action is a better choice than prayer.

I am a Christian, but if someone is about to kill me, I'm not going to get on my knees and pray, I'm going to knock the son of a b**** out!!! (while praying silently)

Maybe they should pray the beleivers grow a brain first... you are better off with a brain and no arm, than an arm and no brain..

Of course He is capable of doing it. Who is to say He has not? The problem when we pray is not on God's end. It is on ours. We doubt. We pray for the amputee and see it through human eyes and doubt.

This surely has to be a drinking question by now.

I did it on a lizard and its tail growed back. Does that make me a witch?
