I've put quotes on walls before- I love to use a product i've found. It's really easy to do. You can design you own lettering, colors, use a quote you have chosen or use their ideas.

Go to www.uppercaseliving.com and click on customer corner. To register enter demonstrator ID 500413 and Token: Wombaker. Then log in as a customer (no obligation) to view the catalog. There are pages and pages of quotes for your walls. If you decide on something not in the catalog just go to My Designs and design your own expression. There are 28 colors to choose from and 40+ fonts. The prices are great too. This is vinyl lettering that is much like a decal or sticker (yes removable when you want it to be) BUT it looks painted on. It is amazing how it changes a room.

Mark Twain had the best quotations:
"I was gratified to be able to answer promptly, and I did. I said I didn't know."
- Life on the Mississippi
"Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself."
- autograph inscription in album to Mrs. Rutherford B. Hayes, reported in The Washington Post, June 11, 1881
"Praise is well, compliment is well, but affection--that is the last and final and most precious reward that any man can win, whether by character or achievement."
- Affection speech, 1907

serenity prayer: GOD grant me the serenity to accept the things i can not change, the courage to change the things i can and the wisdom to know the difference.
footprints: One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was
walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the
sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he
noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one
belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. When
the last scene of his life flashed before him, he
looked back at the footprints in the sand. He
noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed
that it happened at the very lowest and saddest
times in his life. This really bothered him and he
questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, You said that
once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all
the way. But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life, there is only one set
of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed
you most you would leave me." The Lord replied,
"My son, My precious child, I love you and I would
never leave you. During your times of trial and
suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it
was then that I Carried You."
Booker T. Washington: Famous Life Quotes
Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome.
We come to enjoy; we are being enjoyed. We came to rule; we are being ruled. We came to work; we are being worked. All the time, we find that. And this comes into every detail of our life. We are being worked upon by other minds, and we are always struggling to work on other minds. We want to enjoy the pleasures of life, and they eat into our vitals. We want to get everything from nature, but we find in the long run that nature takes everything from us - depletes us, and casts up aside.
hope this helps good luck! oh google famous quotes if your not satisfied

The length required would be equivalent to the fringe = 2(L + W) = 2 (sixteen +14) = 60 feet length of each bit = 12 feet So no 0f products demands = 60 / 12 = 5 So answer B) is nice

Well, the one I am thinking of is quite small, would not go around the room. So maybe you can choose a theme or genre of films and take quotes from them.
My fav is "Never get off the boat!"
So then you can have your guest try to guess what or where all the quotes are from.

I was going to suggest "Build anyway." It's a quote from a poem hanging on the wall in Theresa of Calcutta's mission. But that's too short.
Feel free to visit: http://aerden.livejournal.com and click on the 'Quotations' link on the left hand side--you'll have to scroll down some. You might find something good and longer there.

Look up the words of Abraham Lincoln, he has some very funny quotes and they makes sense.
Look up Mark Twain's quotes, I have pads for everyday of the year and i really do laugh, and those words still stand for today. To the point, yet humourous

Songs by the Beatles during their hippy days aare always good. Like Across the Universe:
Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup,
They slither while they pass they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind,
Possessing and caressing me

I have a few that I really like, I hope this is helpful. " It's not the world that I'm changing, I do this so this world will know that it will not change me" from The Change by Garth Brooks, " Well behaved women seldom make history " and lastly "The beauty of a woman is not in her clothes she wears, the figure that she carries,or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart "
I hope this helps
