marlin made a centerfire bolt action (I think it was called the model 7) for a few years, good looking walnut & blue steel rifle but it was priced too high & never caught on so I think they gave up on it. havent seen one at a gun show for several years anyway.

no, Marlin only makes Lever Action Rifles. And they also do not make a .270

I just checked their website, and no, they do not. The only bolt guns by Marlin are .22 or .17 HMR.

i don't think so..you might want to check their website. they seem to be more lever action which i like a lot. Hornady also brought out the leaver evolution ammo with marlin which makes their 30-30 and other lever rounds much more accurate and effective at longer ranges.
