Okay, I'm 13 and I'm getting a tattoo with my mom. It's going to be a star that's red and black. But I'm wondering, What exactly does it feel like? I'm not going to change my mind about it, but I'm just wondering?

And it doesn't ****** matter if I'm young, I'm gonna get it. And just because my mom's gettin one with me doesn't make her a bad parent.
So Shut the **** up if you ain't gonna give me real advice like i asked for, not your shitty opinion about my ****** age, or my moms parental skills. =]

The outline hurts much more in getting a Tattoo than the coloring does.. the outline feels like a really sharp knife is being dragged through your skin and the coloring feels like air (does not hurt) in fact it might tickle you. Now getting a tattoo behind the shoulder I believe will hurt because its right on the bone. More meat less bone less pain. Remember that.

Dear.
I don't know where you are able to get a tattoo done at, at the age of 13 but shoot.
It basically feels like what it is, a bunch of needles poking you over and over again hundreds and hundreds of times, it really starts to get annoying after a long while.
It is not really all that bad. After the outline for me it pretty much goes numb, you could see if the tattoo parlor has numbing cream if your really worried about the location.
But you might want to rethink the location, it is a painful spot, and it is somewhere that everyone can see it, and lets think your are only 13, but it is your body and your choice.
good luck with your tattoo hun!!!

Feels like a burning, stinging sensation.

Please rethink the location of your tattoo. Some day you're going to be on the job hunt. Many employers aren't as forward thinking as we'd like them to be, and that tattoo could be your ticket out of the job you want. A shoulder is a great spot for a first tattoo, because it can easily be covered up for the workplace but showed off when you're out on the town.

Please wait till your 18 years old.
You will be glad that you did.
No reputable artist will touch you. With that being said,do you really want the possibilities of getting a disease because you are not going to a reputable shop?
I'm not saying that tattoos are bad.I love them!!
I have a few of them! I'm just asking ou to wait till your 18 so that you can go to a great artist instead of a mediocre one that you could get a disease from.

I'm done with my rant now.

To answer your question, I loved getting my wrist tattooed.
Its more discomfort then actual pain!
I'm one of those weird people that love the feel of getting tattooed!

Yeah, 13, right. Where you gonna get this done, some guys basement? Way too young to get legit ink anywhere in this country. But as for how it feels, the wrist is one of the more painfull areas. But you'll find out in five years when your old enough to get one ;)

I have over 10 tattoos, and they just feel like something sharp is poking you. It's more annoying then painful. The sound is horrible, it's like a loud buzzing noise!

Good Luck! ♥

Ok, girl, way to go! It's not that painful. It could be more painful if you do it somewhere close to bones (like spine). But it's like someone is scratching you, or poking with a needdle real fast. You can survive this:)

It feels like getting scratched over and over again. You get numb after awhile if you have big pieces. I have several pieces and I didn't mind getting them done, in fact I loved it, but other people I know couldn't sit still through theirs, so it really depends on the person.

I just recently got a tattoo in the same spot, and it doesn't really hurt all that bad there.
It just mostly feels like your being poked with a safety pin heated up over and over.
it sounds worse then it is.
Good luck!

Besides the fact that you're WAY TOO young to be getting a tattoo even with parental consent, a tattoo feels like a needle poking you over and over. I have one and it's all black. I've heard that the color ones are more painful, but I don't know that for sure. They do not numb you first. They swab teh area with alcohol...same as they do with a shot.
