Spiritual fulfillment is an altered state of consciousness which is experienced by meditation or highly devoted prayer or ny means that evokes strong "belief". Haven't u heard of placebo? "Belief" is the magic of humanity. Whatever u believe in, it is highly likely that u feel good coz of it. However, if Jesus or whoever sed he is the ONLY way to be saved, i wudnt buy it jst in the fear of damnation. It is ironical and amusing how people criticize the make-believe advertisements on TV but never their religions.. Maybe it's human nature in general.

In the first place you must understand the social norm all citizens of the world live by. Then you must accept socialists explanation of religion.
Everyone has a belief that their religion is the TRUE religion. You are quoting a christian ideal. Being as you are a christian you can only fathom and believe what you were told all of your life. We say jesus is our icon and the Muslim have Muhammad. Chinese have Budda .....who is to say who is right. And if christianity if wrong, what are we to do when we die???

I think it's not so much Jesus but the Word of God that is in Him. For some reason Jesus had more of the Word in Him than us. He was able to make a connection and, by approaching God through Him, made that connection available to us also. I am not discounting the possibility that, through a really worthy form of piety, non-Christians may gain the favor of the Word or Jesus unintentionally.

Faith can be misguided. People can manipulate it and those being manipulated won't realize until the last minute (Or maybe not realize at all) what's going on. You see small cult groups that do this effectively with small groups of people, but large-scale religions do so in a very organized way.

Questions like this are designed to create doubt. Like at the cross, the religious leaders saying that if Jesus really was the Son of God, come down from the cross so that we can all believe.

well, Christians like to believe they have a monopoly on "God", on Truth because in their opinion Jesus portrayed Truth. they fail to realize that all avatars embody The Truth, are "God" in human form ... like Jesus.
it's simply spiritual egotism that causes believers to place a higher value on the avatar they've come to recognize, members of a cult of an imagined personality. The Truth remains The Truth whatever body it's in.

See Romans 1:18 thru 28. Those who refuse to acknowledge God and adhere to his statutes will be allowed to believe their own lie. See how God 'Gave them up' to their various beliefs. This is stil true today. Those folks who say things like, "God doesn't mind this, that, or the other. Times have changed." The word of God does not change, but He will allow you to believe what you want if you want to be hard headed.

If you were an enemy of God, wouldn't one of the greatest tactics you could use against him be to:
1. create so many other false religions that it is hard to see the one true religion?
Satan has been around a lot longer then you or I kid. He knows what he is doing.

No, I don't believe you've got that right. Jesus said He is the way, not some religious organization. So to know Him means to be saved. It is obvious that Jesus was actually against the religious establishment if you read the gospels carefully.
