I have been touched by Jesus and I have let Him into my heart. I have personally witnessed the difference He can make and how He can change a person.
I know that we should respect people's decisions, but it still bothers me sometimes that people refuse to accept the Truth.
The Holy Spirit wants to fill them, but they do not let it. I believe the only way to be saved from Hell is to be a Christian. Without accepting Jesus and His sacrifice, it was in vain.
No unclean thing can enter the Kingdom of Heaven. We all deserve Hell, but God so loved the world that if we open our hearts and accept Jesus, our sin will be wiped clean.
I want everyone to go through this experience. I know they will not though. This makes me sad because I do not want others to go to Hell. If I meet someone who is not a Christian, I try to set a good example and I do not force my religion on them, but it is hard some times.
Do you ever feel this way?
God bless.

This question is only directed towards other Christians. Please respect my wishes and do not answer it if you are not a Christian.
I do not wish to argue, I only wish to hear other people's thoughts on this problem. It is hard to see a friend close their mind off to Jesus.

I remember when i was 16 (35 years ago) and there was a Christian concert. I belonged to a Quaker church and really was trying to be like the others who believed....they seemed so happy....my parents didn't even belong to this church, i went on my own....so I was at the concert and the Lundstroms were the band and after an hoiur of music they asked people to come forward and give themselves to Christ. Many people came forward....they stood there and a guy smacked them and it appeared that they were knocked senseless...like an instantaneous trace...and a guy caught them and led them to the back stage....I entered the river of people going forward...It was like i had no control of myself...when I got there this guy thumped me in the chest and i reeled backward, thinking "what the hell are you doing, that hurt" and this guy caught me...i was led the the rear and this kid handed me a Bible (like i didn't have one already)...I suppose I could've gone back to the concert, but i realized that the whole thing was a sham or just a performance...it had nothing to do with faith
I have never gone to church since for religious reasons (sure the wedding and such, but never to speak to God). It's not that I don't believe in God, I just learned, at age 16, that no man on this Earth has the answers...no one can interpret the Bible for you...and no one should be able to dictate belief to anyone...i prefer to worship god in my own way, away from men...in the woods, on walks, on the lake...anywherre where men are not.
So, if you can honestly say that the religious feeling you have are really yours and not something projected from some one or some thing else...if the feelings are really from you and not programing....I respect that....if not, then you are not honest with yourself...i hope the 1st is the case with you..but you will never really know will you

it makes me sad that some people have accepted jesus.
please. even if you have deep inner peace, and are compassionate, wise, gentle, mature, helpful, and a great person, you're 'unclean' and go to hell because you didn't accept the blatherings of a 2007-year-old dead man? that's insane and absurd.
it's not 'letting' jesus into your heart, as though he's there knocking on the door. it's more like ushering an imaginary friend in through the door, and sitting this imaginary person down for tea.
i feel frusterated at how delusional some people are, and the extent to which they'd go for their religion. things like telling people they're going to hell for having a slightly different belief. can't we believe and let believe? i have no real problems with someone quietly worshiping jesus in the privacy of their own church. i do have problems with forcing him onto other people and telling people they will go to hell because of his cruelty.
so no. it makes me sad that people have accepted him in the way that you seem to have.
oh by the way, you can't direct whom you want to answer this question. you can ask for the opinions of a certain group of people, like the christians, but you can't tell other people not to answer. that's ridiculous.

What makes me sad is when those who have accepted Christ then think they are experts on how everyone else should live their lives. In this boorish, overbearing approach, they do more harm than good, thereby driving others away from Christ. Being a Christian is wonderful, but it doesn't give anybody the right to try and force their beliefs down other peoples throats.

I truly tried to accept God and Jesus and all of that, but I guess I never really was "touched" or anything...
But I like Christianity's message of loving and helping others, despite the fact that a few Christians have twisted it around so much...

As a non believer I have the same problem.
Every time I meet a so called "christian" I wish I could explain the sadness of it.
On the other hand I see that "believers" are mostly happier people, because they think "they go somewhere".
So I leave them in there fake happiness.
What irritates me though, is the US way of christians. They think they can attack countries, because they believe different.

This being a public forum and all, I feel under no obligation whatsoever to follow your orders. In this instance, it should not matter just what your fellow Christians think; of equal value are the opinions of the people at which this question is aimed.
And so I'm telling you, do not shed a single tear for me. I am perfectly at peace.

It has in the past made my sad for these people. When you think of the awesomeness of the gift Jesus gave to us, it really is amazing.
But it is also frustrating to see "kwel" people forsake that gift, and talk trash about my savior. I want everyone to at least give Him a chance, and really read the bible for themselves. They don't care to, they rather trash Christianity. In turn this bothers me enough to think that they will get deserve. But alas, I realize this isn't the correct thinking of a true Christian.
In the end, I have to conclude, that it took me many years to truly see what to me looks like the bigger picture, and that in time some of these people who reject Him may come to a better understanding of Jesus. But many who are self deceived will end up in a horrible place, and I can see God will not wince one bit. God deserves and demands our undivided worship, and He will be right not to care about those who don't care to at least find out.
Sooo....I guess my answer is no, it doesn't make me sad any longer.

Yes it does and i love your mind set you can not make someone steer to a religion that is a big step that is self chosen and some times god can win them over but if not then the bible says he will separate your from them it even goes to saying he will separate you from your ken just for you to receive your blessing if that is the case that your family have different belief.

Of course. It is difficult when people choose not to accept. You cannot blame yourself because the Lord has given us all free will. Focus on those who want to hear the gospel and let God work on the hearts of those who don't.

I empathize with your post above.
It helps me to remember that
(a) our job as Christians is not to convert anyone -- but rather to sow the seed of the gospel, and leave the results to God
(b) when people reject the gospel, they are exercising their free-will as permitted by God...
(c) each person makes his/her choice and will reap the results in eternity -- for good or for evil -- the choice is theirs.
Cordially,
John
