I believe you can be married in the eyes of God by standing together and pledging before him to become one flesh for life...no witnesses or officials required.
The practical issue is the legality of your union. If you live in a common law state, publicly claiming to be married, cohabitation, and mingling of finances is usually enough to be legally married in most common law states. Others require you to have a license and be married by someone with the authority to marry in that state. In Las Vegas, almost anything goes and all other states recognize Vegas marriages.
Some minor caveats...if you aren't allowed to be married in the church because you're still legally or spiritually married to someone else then married or not, if you have sexual relations with your bf, it is adultery. If you aren't allowed to be married because you aren't old enough, wait until you are. If you aren't allowed to be married because you bf isn't the same religion (e.g., Catholic), then you either need to accept the rules or change religions!

Why is it that you're not "allowed" to get married? Is it an age issue? If so, you are more than likely not quite ready to even comprehend the full concept of marriage. In answer to your question though, no, it is not the same in God's eyes. The marriage ceremony does not have to be performed by a "preacher" or any other holy man but it must be a lawful union, performed before God and other witnesses.
Brightest Blessings

Instead of figuring out what you can get away with why not figure out how to make your marriage a solid one?
The following suggestions, not rules, might help:
support of family, and friends
time to learn the strengths and weaknesses of Mr/Miss Wonderful
pre-marriage counselling
time to complete job training
witnesses at the actual marriage
Of course, there are exceptions and other ways of looking at it.. It's up to you. Just keep in mind that these extras, though inconvenient, could help get you through the tough parts of life.

I'm sorry to tell you but know. According to the bible any important commitment that will change the rest of your life needs to be done in front of witnesses. Besides, your family and those in athority over the two of you should be in agreement with this marrige.
