There is no real reason for us to have to pay taxes. Ther eis no just law which says that we should be taxed on our income and property etc.

Below is the name of a video which can be seen for free on the internet by going to www.google.com and going to a video search and typing in the name of that video which is listed below. The video is 1 hour 51 minutes long and will give you a just and proper view of how it is that we came to be tax slaves.

It all started in 1913 with the Creation of the Federal Reserve Board and the Formation of the IRS. Before 1913 The american government received money from tariffs and from excise taxes which were apportioned according to the constititution. Today we are burdened by taxes in everyway. Income tax form the Federal State and local level. We have sales tax we have property tax we have tax on the interest earned form our savings deposits and investments. We even have a death tax and when we die our money and property is taxed as an inheritance to our offspring.

So the notion that americans are the least taxed of many other countries is just not true. We have many hidden taxes. There is even a payroll tax that your employer must pay just for you to be able to work at your job. All thesde hidden taxes gas tax liquor tax etc etc. are all passed on to the consumer in the form of higher prices.

You are 100% right to say that no one in America owns anything. Once you pay your mortgage off you still ahve to pay the property tax to be able to still live in your house. You are paying rent to a landlord (the government). there fore you are a tenant in your house. If the house were truly yours why would you pay property tax to live there?

Also your car does not belong to you even after you pay off the car loan. Since 1933 automobiles have to be registerd by state motor vehicle departments. If you do not pay to have your car registerda dnthereafter every two years pay a registration fee then the govt will come and give you tickets and eventually take your car aaway from you. if your car were truly yours why would you pay someone to be able to drive it and keep it?

So you are exactly right in your assessment of life here in America. We truly do not own anything in this country. it is just an illusion.

For example. You buy a house and have amortgage. You have the right to sell the mortgage and hope to make a profit on your investment. a $100,000.00 house may be sold for $250,000.00 therefore you have the right to make a profit on your investment but at no time in your life is your house truly yours. Remeber that nast property tax which is like a rent.

You can learn a lot form the video titled below.

Thank you for reading my answer.

PS. In the video you will learn that there is no true law written saying that by law we have to pay an income tax to the IRS.
The only reason that the government can collect the income tax from us is because they can use "brute" "deadly" force on us in order to amke us pay. We only pay out of fear of being persecuted by the government or of haivng our possesions seized and being thrown into jail.

If the govt wanted to earn more money they can tax corporations and they can go back to ahivng tarrifs on products imported into this country to raise enough money to run the govt and not treat us as "tax" slaves.

There is a reason why we are always called "Tax payers" "consumers" and "Human Resources" We only exist to pay the tax to the govenment and for our ability to consume (they call us consumers not citizens) and our usefullness in society that is why they call us a "human resource" for us to be used. We are used by our labor just as they use oil coal wood water etc. We are only a resource for the govt and the corporations.

When you boil it down, we don't really pay taxes because we have to. We pay taxes because we want to: we like/need the things our taxes buy. If no one paid taxes, you would soon discover why the tax system is in place. That's not to say that we shouldn't dispute how much tax we pay and where it goes, but I'll bet there are relatively few people in the world that could live w/o paying taxes. Taxes help preserve the freedoms we enjoy everyday, including being able to own a house!

OK. Let's abolish all taxes. Let's see what happens.

1. Call 911 in an emergency. Better have your credit card handy! No credit card? Sorry, good luck with your emergency!

2. ALL roads will be toll roads. You'll have to stop and pay every few blocks.

3. You'll have to pay $2,000 - $3,000 per kid per year for "public" school tuition.

4. You'll be required to serve probaby for 10 years in the military without any compensation in order to maintain adequate defense of the nation. EVERYONE will serve regardless of handicapp or other limitations. Of course you'll have to have a part-time job to pay for your food, housing, uniforms, weapons, etc. as there will be no funds from the government for those.

I could go on, but you get the picture. Sound like a plan??

We have to pay taxes to pay for all the services and infrastructure the government provides-- schools, roads, police and military protection, etc. No way around it. Yes we'd like them to be better stewards of our money, but the fact is, we pay less taxes in the US than those living in pretty much every other country.

You know why... if we didn't have them, nobody would bother to keep up the roads and we'd let all the poor people die off for being poor. We need the government to steal 50% of our money so we can give 25% of it to their pockets and 25% of it to the country. :/

edit: Hey, Double D, housing up here is insane. A house that you'd buy for $150K goes for about $400K, so we Washingtonians end up paying like $1,000,000 in the end. Howz THAT for an impressive waste of your life?

To pay to fix roads that don't get repaired anyway. To pay for schools that are supposed to get money from casinos and lotteries and ares till broke even with gambling money and our taxes. To pay for fire departments that still bill you if they come to your house for a fire or other emergency. To line the pockets of elected officials. To pay for a war that no one wants. To pay for the care of veterans that they don't get. To pay for soldiers who don't get the tax paid equipment they need.
Yea, why DO we pay taxes?

So that there's a goverment, if no one paid tax can chaos. Thinking about who paid for military, cop, teacher etc.. do you think those money comes from heaven, not it comes from tax players. However if the country strike rich like those in arab nation, then little or no tax needed.

It’s not fun but it’s necessary to pay for things like roads, schools, and military.
