Does he like me? did he EVER like me? Did I send the wrong signals?

Question

I used to think he had a small crush on me with the things he would do like:
- he told me i was pretty once over AIM
- i would catch him looking at me
- i went on break (we work together) and he asked if i paid for my food and said yes and than he gave me a free break ticket than later i gave it back to him telling him i wouldn't use it or i would lose it and than he said " fine, you just ripped my heart out."
- he once scared me and i was like " i hate you" and he said " no you dont"
- i than went on break with his friend and he went to break with my friend but when i got off break he was like " so you'll eat lunch with him but you won't eat with me, okay, i see how it is."
- he said i smelt good once
- he would say i broke his heart and do a little broken heart with his fingers.
- he said i was to young to have a boyfriend

But now I don't know he seems to be interested in my friend more now. When ever I see him we don't talk we just kinda look at each other...

And when I do look at him he always looks kind of sad. I don't know if maybe I was playing way to hard to get and so he just gave up and doesn't think i like him. or maybe he never liked me at all and it's all just in my head or what. I'm confused. I still find him looking at me and stuff, but i just don't know. I need some other opinions.

Sounds as if he is waiting for you to make the next move. He doesn't know where he stands with you and doesn't want to take it any further in case you reject him. Try being friendly when you see him and flirt a bit - go on - you can do it!

He's a flirt... you haven't given me any hard evidence to show signs of him actually being interested. Take it from a flirt, never read into anything unless he comes right out and tells you he likes you, ok? All the signs you gave were merely flirting gestures. Some people flirt for attention. Don't get all worked up.

It all made sence until the "too young to have a boyfriend part". I think he might have a crush on you..but wants to remain friends. If you are under 18 and he is over..that would explain alot..he might just want to wait until you are old enough so he can 'be' with you

he does like you and you need to sit down with him and tell me how u feel. maybe he did feel like u were just playing around with his feelings. Have a good chat to him and see how he feels and see what happens from there
