I turn polar bears white

And girls comb their hair.

I turn pancakes brown

If you sqeeze me, I'll pop.
If you look at me, you'll pop.
Can you guess the riddle?

"Worlds Hardest Riddle" No, yes, maybe because you asked: "Can you guess te riddle?" & if I say "yes, no, or maybe", then that's still an answer... I'm gunna put down a quote that someone said & it makes perfect sense to me: The question is this: "Can you guess the riddle?" Its not,.. What am I? or.. What do I do? .. like one of those types of riddles.. So you can either answer yes, no, or maybe.. Litle kid may say, No teach, I can't guess the riddle.. Harvard student may come up with elaborate answers to the wrong question, thus not answering the question. Question: Can you guess the riddle? College Student: Water. Hmmm.. Water doesn't really answer the question now does it?

Well, I have been searching for the answer in riddle forums or on snopes i haven't found an answer or this riddle, but I know i have heard it before. My first inclination was Air then, I think no as well, because air doesn't fit: if you look at me, I can explain the rest of this with air.... sort of convoluted-ly.. OKAY I AM EDITING NOW... I found the answer to the riddle. It's no as everyone else said: Harvard graduates would tear it apart and try to answer as we did (some of us) and kindergarteners would just reply no, I can't answer. That proves the best thing we learned in Kindergarten.... it's okay not to know everything and admit it.

CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF, IT IS NOT NO. HARVARD GRADS CAN'T ANSWER BECAUSE THE ANSWER IS THE MOST GENERIC BUT KINDER GARDENERS HAVE THIS COME TO THEIR MIND FIRST

Not sure... the final question, in the way it is written, "Can you guess the riddle?" requires a 'yes' or 'no' answer.

It's possible this riddle has morphed over time, and the final question has subsequently been added.

There is an answer, just an answer most people cannot figure out. To many people it is impossible, to others its not. I personally think it is nothing.
