The problem with that is, it wasn't a commerical for any store, like Walmart or Target or any store! It was pretty much a commercial for Sony as if it were stating that the price for a Playstation 3 will be $299.99. All I want to know is when & where!?

I understand what everyone is saying, but the commercial wasn't talking about the UK or anyone elses price on the PS3. As a matter of Fact, I saw the commercial again TODAY & it said "PS3, now the lowest & best price around!" But it STILL did not show or state a price! It's killing me! LOL! I just need to know what the lowest price really is for a PS3. Is it $299 or $399??? SOMEONE, FIND ME A WALMART REPRESENTATIVE!!!! GOD! They're Never Around When You Need Them! LOL! Thanks You Guys For All The Replies!!!

At the end of the new PS3 commercial, it said "now starting at $399". The 40GB PS3 is the one that is starting at $399, not the 80GB PS3. Don't expect a price drop on any PS3 in at least 6 months to another year.

I dont know about that. The 40G PS3 is on sale for $399. The Xbox360 is going for $299. Are you sure you didnt get the 2 confused?

You probably saw a PS3 commercial, where they announce 299 UK pounds price drop.
