when I have a serious sin I confess, other than that I try to live in the state of grace.

I often do it at every chance of the day when i may be praying or just plain talking to God. When I wake in the morning and say my prayers and then just before I do my morning reading and study. Then as i go on about my day. Sometimes I have a decision to make so before I ask I confess then, too. Then at the end of the day before I go to sleep. I like to know that I am open and up front with my best Friend in the world let alone my God. I love Him too much to let something come between us.

I go to confession at least once every two weeks, if not every week. I go almost as often as I go to church, which is sometimes more than once a week. Very rarely do I go a whole week without committing a sin that I feel could be better avoided through the holy guidance of a priest. Not only is it one of the blessed sacraments that we should be joyful to receive, confession also bears us to humility and in doing so allows us to combat the mortal sin of pride.

I try to confess as often as I sin. I confess,right now, that doesn't always happen.

Why do you consider yourself such a low life that you have to confess anything? Have you no dignity. Do you need to prostrate yourself because of a belief that may or is probably not true. That is an awful thing. Let no one tell you that you are so useless and non important that you should even consider such a thing. Respect yourself. Sin does not exist except in a church, they tell you that so you feel unworthy except by their teachings. What an awful thing to do to someone.

Every time I pray. Which is multiple times daily. Even if I don't think I have sinned I ask God to forgive me if I did something and do not realize it.

as soon as I am aware of what I commit ed. I now confess the thoughts of the temptation that is before me. I ask Jesus to intercede and give me strength not to act on whatever temptation nipping at me.

i do not confess my sins [to anyone]. i dont believe there is a 'specific' god or anything like that. i believe in a higher being, but in all honesty, IF there is a 'god', then they/he/she ALREADY knows what sins we have done and what sins we will DO.

Confess to whom? Why should I? I always try to learn from my mistakes to improve myself. Why need a second person for what? To get closer to GOD? Have you ever heard of Roman catholic priests having sex with altar boys? For that they have created a system to make them guilt free!
