The greatest thing my mother did for her children was to put the fear of God in them...She did not ask us if we were going to church she said you are going..And today all of her children are good mates and moral, Bible believing church attending adults...
We have much respect for our mother and bless her..That is all I have ever known and all I want is to please Jesus. Everything was Jesus in our home.. Worship the Lord your God with all your hearts and with all your mind and soul
We were made to attend church every Sunday, Wednesday and some times Friday...Do I have resentments....absolutely not....My mother was a very wise lady and loved her Lord with all of her heart...I always felt the Lord near me and still do...I tell mom over and over how I bless her for giving us Jesus...She would say I can't give you riches but I can give you Jesus and that was the greatest gift..... We even had a parakeet that was taught to say, go to church...On Sunday mom would bring the cage to our bed and the bird would wake us up for church...
I FEEL LIKE ONE OF THE WEALTHIEST AND MOST FORTUNATE LADIES ON EARTH... ..

I'm a Christian and I got where I am today by actually studying the history and archaeology involved, looked at the lives changes, the lives many Christians were living and realized I had been fed alot of material that was best used for fertilizing the grass. I started reading the Bible, more archaeology, some theology etc. and am still trying to learn more.
The easiest way way to learn about it would be to read some of these:
Case for Faith and Case for Christ by Lee Stroebel,
Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis
The Greatest thing in the World by Henry Drumond
Not enough faith to be an atheist

Hi, im Muslim, the basic belifs of a Muslim is the 5 pillars which are 1. testimony of faith (there is no god worthy of worship but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger) 2. hajj which is pilgrimage to Mecca, 3. zakat which is giving to charity, 4. salat (the five daily prayers) and 5. fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. we cannot eat pork as it makes us unholy. over 20,000 plus Americans convert to Islam a year. we have to perform wudu before each prayer, and wudu is cleaning yourself. you have to wash your hands, face, nose, ears, mouth, arms, hair and feet. without performing this, a prayer cannot be valid. by chose, a woman can wear the hijab (veil that covers our hair) to protect us from strangers who think lustful thought of woman. only our husbands/kids/father deserve to see us. no we are not terrorist. only .0001% of Muslims are terrorist. most of us oppose terrorism
i reverted to Islam in March of this year, mashallah. i started to study a little about Islam early 2006 and the more i knew about it, the more i fell in love with it. its a BEAUTIFUL peaceful religion. i used to be catholic, and i never was happy about it. there was always a middlemen, i did not appreciate that. i do not like confessing my sins to a priest, beause i believe whatever thought/problem etc you have should only be between yuo and God. Turning to Allah has made my life so much easier. Finally my prayers are getting answered. finally i have way more self- confidence. finally i learn to love life. not only is Islam a perfect religion, but its a way of life. alhamdulilah. peace be upon you.

My parents were Agnostic: They did not push any religion onto me but did not deny the existence of God. I had to make up my own mind, and after carefully thinking about the possibility of any religion being the right one, I just came to the conlusion that they're all wrong.

I went to college and read many books. With the knowledge I gained I let the mythology of religion go. Not that I ever really believed it to begin with, but I let go of the fear of getting struck by lightning for thinking about having sex with a woman that I wasn't married to for 6564645 years.

I am Christian. I follow Jesus Christ and read the bible. I have gotten to where I am today becasue of my family's high standards for me and my friends support. But it is God's will for what will happen and it is all because of Him how I have gotten to where I am. I am happy at where I am at and I hope that my faith will only get stronger with time.

I was raised by Christin missionaries, I always respected what they believed in..but I just didn't feel a connection with their beliefs.
They always encouraged me to be culturally and religiously aware, so it was quite easy to see that Buddhism was the path I should take at this time in my life.
