Does anyone know of a freeware program that can make slideshows out of multiple pictures, use background music, and compress into a single file for easy uploading? Like, say....one you could use on ytmnd in place of an image.

Try openoffice.org 2.2 . It has a program thats similiar to Microsoft Office Powerpoint.

Nero is my favorite and you can get a free trial on line. Just search Video software. There are many free ones but I have learned to use Nero and love it. Good luck.

Photo slide show from Microsoft believe it or not. It is free from their site. It does photos to music.
