My hair needs changing!?

It ' s been a couple months into school . I have a boyfreind and I really want to impress him with my hair. I about have shoulder length hair ( blonde)!When I blow dry it it is so frizzy. And when I let it dry natural it is super curly! I straighten it every day. It needs a big change . My hair is scraggaly when it gets sort of long. I don't want enything really drastic like purple highlights. I need tips on how I can impress my boyfreind with stylin hair!
