Not trying to be funny but I have noticed that every time i eat meat mainly beef or sushi as well (not so much chicken) I have supper boners in the morning. I thought this happened to everyone but I just asked my friend and it apparently does not effect him or most of his friends.

There is definitely an effect when I eat high quality protein. I happen to be 31 and in great shape but the special erections are like puberty erections and im sure many guys can remember how viral those can be; so they are different from the ordinary morning stiffs (this is serious folks, any docs in the house?)

i don't think so. i'm quite sure that every erection has to do with testosterone(of course) but why its there may be your problem. did you play a violent game before bed, have sex dreams, get in a fight, or maybe it's been building up.
some guys also have more libedo than most.
good luck
hope that helped.

Lately, I've been feeling the same way too, I gave up eating chicken every night, and I substituted it with mixed frozen veggies which are reletivly inexpensive but I have the same problem regarding protein. The only things I've been able to figure out, without going vegan, is to eat more eggs. I do eat Tuna everyday for lunch, because it's cheap and nutrious. If Tuna and Eggs arn't your bag, like some of the other posters on here have mentioned, beans and assorted nuts are great for protein, the only problem with nuts are, are the high caloric count. Not to mention the fat content of nuts in general is rather high, even in raw form I have a hard time just limiting myself to just one handful. Don't get me wrong, being vegan or vegitarian is noble and I wish I could do that, but due to my body structure it would be easier to go vegetarian than vegan.

I think so :P Because I've noticed that when my bf eats red meat & certain proteins (as you mentioned) he is extremely hard through out the night & morning (like if he got a good pump of blood or something) :P

Man you have no idea how hard you just made me laugh it wasn't because of your question though. You talked about eating and getting boners and whats great is you said you have (SUPPER) boners not super boners. So it must be the actual act of eating the meat that causes this. Not sure why? Scary!

Nothing you eat, with one exception, will cause you to get erections. It is totally normal to have 3 to 5 erections during the night. This is called nocternal penile tumesence and that is what you are experiencing. Men who do not get these erections are impotent.

You must be thinking too much of the red meat which smells like fish & tastes like chicken. Does it keep you busy in the morning? What a pleasure!

Many men get boners in the morning. It's a combination of being relaxed and having testosterone.

Getting "boners" in the mornings has nothing to do with what you ate the night before. Morning erections are very common.
