The answer is completely obvious. Keep seeing your boyfriend. When your Dad asks why you disobeyed him, have your boyfriend come over and mash him. This will keep your Dad from interfering with your personal life in the future.

Has he threatened you or your dad physically? If not, then there probably is no reason for your dad to feel this way. He just may be uncomfortable with you having a boyfriend. I would talk to him and ask him why he is afraid/intimidated. If your boyfriend is the type that would physically harm someone and your dad senses that, then maybe you should think twice about being with this guy.

If there is no reason for your dad to be afraid, then you should all; sit down and talk about the situation openly and honestly. If there is reason for your dad to be intimidated, I don't know how you should handle it. I wouldn't have a relationship with someone who intimidated my loved one.

properly, your boyfriend probable strikes far flung from you at the same time as he hears your dad's automobile because he doesn't favor to be throughout you once you're dad is equipped in. i'm particular dads do not extremely like that. yet except that, I basically imagine your boyfriend desires to advance up and absolutely supply your dad a threat. it style of feels to me like he's a poon it really is petrified of no longer something.

Break up with him. You have been with your dad for 16 years, and guys will come and go. You are too young to be in a serious relationship.

You should talk to your dad and ask exactly why he is afraid of. If it is because your boyfriend is big you must assure your dad that nothing is going to happen, secondly and very important you have to be completely convinced that your boyfriends feelings are real and encourage them to talk about anything, make them feel friendly and trustly.

well if you truly like him then you should probably stay with him, but remember your dad just wants what he thinks is best for you and try to keep that in mind next time he brings that subject up. You should probably also try to explain to your dad that you really like the guy and want to stay with him

Is your boyfriend violent or has he ever been mean or rude to your father? If yes, then your father is right, you should not date him.
If not then I'm sure after your dad gets to know him he will not be intimidated any longer=)

one year is no big difference. But does your dad understand you are gay? Is he okay with it? If not, try talking to him about it and how you feel with your boyfriend.
