Yes... But, living by The Word and obeying God will put you where you need to be and show others what they need to see. They'll come to you.

Preaching to those who don't want to hear is a complete waste of time. I find people who spend their time preaching are often ignoring something God wants them to work on and preaching to feel a false sense of righteousness.

Jesus just prayed to God and did what he was told to do... and miracles happened. He treated those around him with love and understanding. He preached, but he just told the people when and where and they came on their own... because of who he was, how he lived, the results people saw with their own eyes.

Jesus Christ told His followers to take the gospel to the entire world and teach the nations the Word of God, and the ways of Christ.

We are to witness to others by our words and deeds. We are to sow the seed of the Word of God to all hearts, whether they be hard or receptive, as in the parable of the sower.

The Gospel or the word of God of course. That is one reason He came as the incarnate God to teach us to love one another as He has loved us.

It doesn't matter, because as we all know if the word of God doesn't work, then apparently the Christians think it's ok to use the sword. As is evident by the crusades.
