We believe Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden, and Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God, does it matter by what means God worked to do this?
I am betting that South Park based their episode on the LDS church and not vice versa since South Park came around a long while later.

i didn't see the episode- but i can tell you that it's joesph smith, it's not a new bible, but a completley seperate book that goes hand in hand with the bible. (it's accounts of things happening on the american continent)called the book of mormon- it was an idea that after the fall the area of where they were was missouri- however this was a scholars idea, not prophecy and not doctrine. The church has never taken a stance on one way or the other. joesph smith doesn't read the book out of hat- it was translated with the help of the urrim and thummim and divine intervention. if want to get the basics you can go to mormon.org- couldn't hurt to inform yourself- you can also ask questions live through the internet on the site

You do choose for to curl issues on your very own purpose. in actuality, your first assertion replaced into spectacular. Joseph replaced into sealed to many women human beings for eternity yet no longer forming marital bonds with them right here in mortality. That has no touching on what we do as we communicate. The prepare of sealing stay women human beings to deceased prophets replaced into ended sometime throughout the time of Brigham youthful's administration. If a woman is married to a guy and he or she is dedicated to none different, then there is not any adultery there. you could examine that throughout the time of area 132 of the D&C. The prepare has replaced, the doctrine has no longer and neither have been incorrect then or now. once I first examine area 132 approximately 40 5 years in the past, i replaced into sufficiently upset that I went to my Stake President for an answer to "how am i able to obey while for sure we won't be able to". The scripture states that every physique who've this regulation printed unto them, ought to obey the comparable. i could no longer do this, so the thank you to I stay the scripture? He advised me that as long as I understood the commandment and would desire to declare in my coronary heart, definite, then i replaced into doing all that i'd desire to for now. In different words if the Church President have been to call me and command me to obey that distinctive regulation, would I be waiting to respond to interior the affirmative that i replaced into waiting and prepared to obey. if so, then it somewhat is all that i can do for now. So it somewhat is that the regulation has no longer replaced, only the circumstances surrounding its compliance.

Mormonism like the JW's and communism are Christian heresies because they are trying to implement Christian ideas without the Judeo Christian base. Both these systems deny the Trinity which means their immediate issues are related to metaphysics and of morals. In Christianity love and communication always occurred between the members of the Trinity. Because the Mormons reject the Trinitarian idea they are forced to re-think much of the Bible to accommodate their lack of a universal. In short Mormonism like the JW and communist are shut up to the area of finite minds which essentially cannot give sufficient intellectual stability to their system. Apart from this their biggest hurdle is modernity and they yet have to understand our current postmodern context.
