should i get a tattoo that is 15 words?
i am determined to get this, but i dont know where it would look best...
"A good friend once told me we are our memory, without it we equal nothing..."
I don't want to hear your comments about it being dumb or ugly...it's something i want, and i just need ideas of where to put it.

i also like the part "we are our memory with out it we equal nothing"
which shortens it up by a few words.

On your ribs. It would hurt like a ***** but I think it would look nice. Also, just for the record, I like it better as just "we are our memory, without it we equal nothing". Good luck!

Putting it on the underside of the forearm and the shoulder would put you in the same boat as the millions of other people who have no creativity... so would putting it in the small of your back. I have two tattoos. MOM on my right shoulder blade and a sun with a kanji (Chinese characters) meaning family on the inside of my right bicep.
But this is a personal choice... put it where you feel you are most comfortable more than anything since it is your body and tattoos are almost permanent. Even if you get laser removal, it won't go away a 100%. I have a couple of female buddies who had big tats put on their sides, about four inches below the armpit. It stretches from where the six pack (ab muscles) start to the same spot on their backs.
Hope you find out where to put it! Good luck!

Well it's really just about personal preference. If you want the text at a larger size, you will obviously have to choose a part of your body that will fit. But if you want a smaller text size, then you could put it where you can keep it covered if need be. I've seen a lot of lettering that people put on the top of their foot that looks really good, or on the inside of your arm, or maybe something like the back of your shoulder. Just take the time to think it through and pick a spot that you really like, hope this helps!

I think a few good places to put it would be behind your ear cause its close to your mind or "memory" and it could easily be covered up.. only thing is that the font would have to be pretty small.. another place to put it would be the back of your neck which would make the font a little bigger or even across the bottom of your stomach. hope this helps

If its going to be 15 words do it in small font - but if you want like one pic are something small like a butterfly - let me recomend the top of your foot or around the bottom of your leg. That is where I got my first tattoo and it did not hurt a bit. But 15 words do seem a little lenghty - but people do bible verses and put them on their backs, chest, and arms.

The phrase is too long to put anywhere on your chest. Mid-section tats are for ignorant brainless "gang-stas" and are tacky.
The entire phrase? I say it should go on your left shoulder--near the heart, being it's a sincere heart-felt statement.
If you want this phrase to go on your chest, by your heart, I suggest the shorter "Memories are who we are--without them, we are nothing!". Perhaps along a pink banner w/ a rose or some other iconic picture of your choice.

I have several tattoo's, so I won't give negative comments. If you want this many words, I would do it wrapping around your leg (calf area) kinda like a ankle band, you could even make the words big enough that it would make it go around several times in a spiral way. If that makes sense.

Put it spiraling down your arm in those gothic letterings, or across your back. There's more space on your back.
Oh and if you're convinced you want the tattoo, my advice is make sure it looks cool, but make sure also that you will be ok with seeing it the rest of your life.

Well your gonna get it anyways. You'll eventually regret it for the rest of your life. They are unattractive to any classy guy, its a turnoff if your in a job interview, after a while the ink starts to spread and it turns into a big ugly sploch, and the best part is the only way to get rid of it is a bunch of painful laser surgerys :D

As long as it has meaning to you go for it!! Unfortunakly, tatoos are looked upon by employers as a no no, so think about when ur older to place it somewhere it shows only when u want it to. For that amount of letters, marbe a scroll mid waydown ur neck, between the blade
