I moved on my mom's property one year ago. I set my trailer right next to my sister's old trailer which was being used for a storage. Mom said it was going to be moved across the field eventually. When I started hooking up he utilities to my house and unhooking them from the old trailer, mom had a fit. She said she wanted to fix it up JUST in case someone needed a place to stay. Well, almost one year later my uncle needs a place for him and his kids. So mom calls me up, says they are moving in and they are hooking into my water and sewer. I said I didn't like the idea and she told me to get over it because it was going to happen anyway. The water is in my mom and my sister's name...I just took over paying the bill. The sewer my sister put in years ago. The old trailer is only 12 feet from my house. So now they are hooked to the water which I will have to split the cost of the bill with my uncle. He also hooked electric cords to my house without asking until he gets his own electric.

The electric is in my name only. The land belongs to my mom, but was told that I could have the land I moved onto, before I moved there. So in short the land is mom's, the water is hers and my sisters, the sewer is my sisters. All of which I took over when I started living there a year ago. Now She just moves him in on the land and utilities without my ok. Th electric he is tied into is from two electical cords plugged into an outlet under my trailer house which goes into his window and plugged into lamps and things. Without my permission. If I say something then all hell would break loose. I am stressing about it and looking for another place to move my trailer to.

Sounds like family helping family and splitting the cost. If you want to "rule" the demographics with morals by causing a ruckus you may find yourself living in a car. Keep the peace until you have your own property. Hey the holidays are coming!

No, It is definitely NOT all right. I don't even know where to begin......

I could be construed as Fraud.

In any case, the owner or manager of the trailer park may be within their rights to evict you, your uncle, or both.

If you are going to pay for your uncle's utilities, then just pay for his utilities! Hook him up to his own system. Don't encourage him to break the rules, and mooch off other people.

Furthermore, the electrical system in your trailer is only designed to handle the load from ONE trailer, not TWO. Sharing electricity could possibly be dangerous, especially if it rains.

Good luck,

Why would you expect a licensed plumber to work for you FREE? His time is worth money and the cost of materials can get expensive. remember he must furnish his truck, tools, insurances, pay city taxes etc. Shop around and get some estimates from 2 or 3 plumbers and hire the one that can do the job properly.

stop paying the bill and get your own line. and open a new account with the electric company. and cut his wires. or move off your mom's land and into your own apt or house.

Well, if it bothers you, try to compromise or something like that with your uncle. Also, make him pay for what he used (water, electric, whatever he used from you that costs money) and pay your own bill. But urge him to get his own water and electric.

Show the love of GOD to them and help them. Then get your OWN water and sewage.
After all, your mom DIDNT have to help you either.Sounds like she cares about people.
