I just got home from a trip with my two cousins. Well during the trip my ant and uncle didn't buy allot to eat so I was basically eating cereal allot, because there was nothing else. Well when my uncle dropped me off at me house today when I wasn't in the room, he told my mom I have bad eating hobbits. I didn't know about this until she told me, I was like mom why are you telling me this? to make me feel like sh!t? I told her that she shouldn't tell me that kind of stuff, and she knows my feelings are hurt, so I got mad at her and now shes pissed off. It just seems like she is intenually (sp?) doing this to make me feel bad. And I eat fine at home there just was hardly enough on the trip. We just don't seem to get along and I am getting very deprepresed allot. I've tryed talking to her but she wont listen. I don't know what to do please help me! I'm 14 by the way, and if you have a rude answer get lost!

Your mom should understand that it is not true. She should know how you eat well at home. There aren't any reason to believe that what your uncle said is true. I do agree with you, 1. It was no need for your uncle to mention a lie to your mom, and 2. Your mom shouldn't made a big deal about it.

After you both calm down ask your mom that the next time you go with your aunt and uncle that you will need money so you can buy your food or at least have make a nice meal for you to take. I know you're mad right now, but don't make a big issue about it like your mom did. I don't understand why your mom is making a big deal about it. God bless.

Both my teens and niece had and still have bad eating habits. It's OK! Just agree and ask your Mom to bake you some brownies because all Uncle Buck had was a lot of stale cereal! LOL - Nancie

Well hon, she didnt say those things to you to "hurt" you.She said them because she is CONCERNED for you.Wait until she cools down then tell her that your aunt and uncle didnt buy much in the way of food and you ate what you could find(by the way i LOOOOVE CEREAL,which some cereals are good for you).Listen to what she has to say though, but also tell her it is the adults job to make sure the kids eat right.

well it seems like you are not talking to her as you need to. you should have told her that she should know you eat well and that they didn't have much to eat on the trip. it also seems like you really take things to close to heart its ok but you need to know that you are going to have disagreements with your mom an a lot of other people in your life to come. take a breather and just sit her down an really talk with her and let her know how you feel. along with that you yourself have to be open minded and hear her out too.
