I've never tasted it but I hear it is disgusting to the uninitiated. I have seen it for sale somewhere around here. I have never had the courage to try it.
I also saw something called "Spotted Dick" in our local store, which, as I understand it, is a British cake in a can. I damn near died laughing at the name. It sounds like some loathsome venereal disease.
So, should I try this Australian delicacy? Vegemite..... if it is a meat product why don't they call it Meatymite?
