Yeah, over my whole face, and a kind of mean one too, not some History Channel cro-magnon wussie sort of skull.

I don't think phosphorscent inks have been in use long enough for you to understand the longterm implications of getting your face tattooed with them.

You might regret it, and not because you'd scare the crap out of babies at "It's a Small World."

"RISKS: Although certain manufactures are making FDA approved UV inks, other glow in the dark inks are not. Phosphorescent inks, which glow by themselves, are thought to be dangerous and can easily be confused with UV inks. A UV ink will not glow alone; it will only glow under black light. Many tattoo artists do not feel comfortable using UV inks yet because the trend is relatively new, says Lenny Welch, a tattoo artist in Tampa. Since a slightly different technique should be used when applying a UV ink tattoo, it’s important that the artist you go to has experience with UV ink."

No I haven't. My rule of thumb is to mull over your tattoo design for at least a year or two before actually getting inked. If within that time frame you already decided it was stupid/impractical, then obviously you really spared yourself. I tend to find people who do impulse tattoos to be a little too adventurous for my taste :) I will also suggest that you ALWAYS get someone fluent in the language of the tattoo you want to check it over. I've seen too many tattoos in Chinese characters that do not say what the person who proudly shows me THINKS it says.

Yes. I've heard of skin turning to mush from that type of ink...

Under any situation that would involve blacklights, having a skull tattoed on your face would almost be appropriate...

You probably wouldn't regret it... but what would really freak people out is if a pentagram appeared on your face when the lights went off! COOL!

Probably, because it's permanent. You may not feel the same 20 years down the road.

To each his own I guess.

Sounds pretty cool, though I personally think tattoos are a form of self-mutilation and are therefore wrong.

Yeah, in the dance clubs people would think someone just came on your face.
