Surprising that the Winchester and the fmj both shot 14 " groups, are we talking .30 carbine here? 223, 308 and 30-06 will all shoot far better than this. As has been said much more detail is needed, caliber, gun, age, use, condition, make, to name but a few.

There is a myriad of reasons for a weapon to shoot this poorly, however you do not give us much to work with here. What type of weapon is it, what caliber is it, what kind of mechanical condition is it in, is the action lose, is the barrel shot out, is the crown damaged, stock warped, etc.
There are a lot of sharp people here who might give you some insight if you were to provide a bit more information and a specific question. I am assuming that you are concerned that the group is so big and wish to know what can be done to improve it.
Shoot us some specifics and we'll see what we can do to help you out.

You're welcome...I guess... Is there a question here that I am missing? NOTE* A 14" pattern/grouping at 75 yards is terrible....even for iron sights....

Put the rifle in a rest, if it still groups that poorly, then see a gunsmith, if the rifle shoots at least 4MOA, you need to read the rifleman section of this... http://www.fredsm14stocks.com
Also, use a shooting sling when you're not using a rest.

This really wasn't a question. Sounds like fun. You should try Match grade bullets. They use them in sniper rifles and they shoot a lot more straight.
