a year of piano lessons. She is 8 year old Chiwava (sp?). How much money is appropriate for a lesson?
The teacher is retired and dislikes small breeds.

LOL. I would find a piano teacher that likes small breeds and then you can negotiate the price you're willing to pay.

Thanks. I needed a chuckle :-)

Piano lessons are probably a good choice for your dog. We have a Siberian Husky and we are having him take ice hockey lessons with the hopes that he will help the Detroit Red Wings win the Stanley Cup again some day.

Oh that sounds like a grand idea. I think I should have my dog trained on how to play the piano too. I want my dog to learn how to play jingle bells for my family on christmas.
I think you should pay a dog biscuit per a lesson.
Or maybe a meatball per a lesson(from wedding singer). ROFLOL

Smarter: seriously you make me laugh!!

I'm training mine to play the drums. Maybe we could get together and start a band? Does anyone else have a dog with talent?
My male Saint has a really good baritone voice.

So why is it that you feel piano lessons make your dogs life full?

your dog will love it, my dog used to go to ballet and piano lessons. Unfortunately i had to take her to the shrink after ballet lessons (she though she was 2 fat) so i don't recommend those. but piano lessons worked wonderfully.

Well that depends. My chihuahua's lessons were only $900000 each, good luck finding a price that fair.

Chihuahua.

You did what now? This is a DOG, not a child!

Invest in some obedience classes. They teach you how to teach your dog!
