the legend of bloody mary is not exactly solved, some say that the legend was about Queen Mary I, known in history by the sobriquet "Bloody Mary". [2][3]The queen's life was marked by a number of miscarriages or false pregnancies. Others say that she was some type of witch that killed children. hope that helps

a scary person who will come and kill you if you look in the mirror and say her name slowly three times.....

why were we told stuff like this as children? okay, well, don't remember who exactly told me this, but this is what I think of as to who bloody mary is.

But it's also a drink. Vodka and bloody mary mix, or tomato juice. But that would be an answer to 'what is bloody mary'

vodka, tomato juice, worchester, celery salt, tabasco, okay just kidding. Bloody Mary was Queen Mary I, Mary Tudor. She was Queen of Ireland and England. She had a lot of people executed for religious reasons which gave her the nickname Bloody Mary.

Bloody Mary was the daughter of Henry VIII. After her young brother died, she inherited the throne of England. Her mother was Henry's first wife, Catherine of Aragon. Thus, she was a Catholic. Incensed by Henry's treatment of her mother, and appalled that he had broken with the Catholic church, she tried to make England a Catholic country again and persecuted anyone who was or was thought to be a protestant. She was so horrible, that she earned the nickname Bloody Mary. Mary, Queen of Scots, was another woman.

I'm honestly not being funny or pokey, but I don't think there is a bloody mary as a person. I just know a drink called that.

If you want to know what's in the drink, it's some hard liquor (dunno the kind) mixed with V-8 or some kind of tomato juice.

Oh, there is such a person. I just read the answers! My deepest of apologies. Goes to show you how much I know about that!

The person who is supposed to appear in the mirror if you spin around saying "Bloody Mary" three times. It doesn't work. Whoever came up with the idea was an idiot.

Mary1 Tudor of England, older of henry viii's daughters and sister of Elizabeth 1.Mary, daughter of Catherine of Aragon, led a Catholic restoration in England after her brother's Protestant persecution of catholics and she executed some 300 protestant martyrs and her sister Elizabeth killed more Catholics but she is "Good Queen Bess" and "Mary Bloody Mary" because Mary lost out to the Protestants and Elizabeth won by reigning so longeven though the religious majority was Catholic when Elizabeth came to the throne in 1588
