Well, the major whole in your assertion is that we are here on earth, and for a fact, we can know for certain that this part of the universe is not made entirely out of nutmeg.

To prove that it is not entirely made of nutmeg is easy since we cab instantiate things which are not nutmeg. Everywhere however is a different story based on your "Have you BEEN everywhere " .
I wonder if nutmeg and cheese can make a palatable combination. After all we know that the Moon is made of cheese.

I am one of the few people allergic to nutmeg so quite frankly I agree...its in everything and its so strong it can be used in small enough quantities that it does not have to be listed...talk about a nightmere...I know this isn't the point of your question, but for me, metaphorically speaking, the universe IS entirely made of nutmeg.

Possibly the center of atoms, the depths of the sea, and the furthest reaches of the universe are, indeed, tasty and nourishing nutmeg.
But as for my pantry, nutmeg composes a mere 2%, right next to the allspice and ginger.

I've never been told that I taste like nutmeg... I figure if I was made of nutmeg, somebody would have told me that I taste like nutmeg. So, since I don't taste like nutmeg, I must not be made of nutmeg, and if I'm not made of nutmeg, then the entire universe can't be made of nutmeg.

LOL, do you know one interesting characteristic of nutmeg?
If you eat it in large quantities (1 gram per 5 killos of body weight) it's quite a potent drug. Causes a "high", synesthesis, elated feeling, makes your perceptions meld into one another... sometimes even causes hallucinations.
Now is the WHOLE bloody UNIVERSE is made of nutmeg, I don't wonder why everyone is so crazy and hallucinates about some god all the time! ;)

O kay then... since nutmeg is a known halucinogen, and is commonly used to induce the imaginary Christmas Spirit, if it actually WERE the base component of the entire universe, we would be far too tweaked to know it... as we currently ARE. So... your blog or mine, baby?

If you're the one postulating that the entire universe is made of nutmeg, then you're the one who has to prove it, honey.

I've been here... and here, Earth, is a small part of the universe. Not everything here is made of nutmeg; so, the entire universe is not made of nutmeg - although most of it could be.
