Who is Fred Phelps!? Is he for real or just annoying?

He is a leader of a Baptist church, oh my how scary!!!

He is annoying, and unfortunately, is also very real. He is the pastor of a cult-like church called Westboro Baptist Church, which is made up of mostly his own family.
They are hate-mongers. They hate pretty much anybody that doesn't go to their "church." Especially if that person is gay, is a soldier, and especially if they're a gay soldier. They do cruel and hateful things like protesting soldiers' funerals and harassing their families.
One family in MD was just awarded nearly $12 million because of the damage FP and his "church" did to them by protesting their son's funeral.
He says he's Christian, but real Christians don't act like that.

Fred Phelps is the head of the Westboro Baptist Church, which is the anti-gay group that's famous for picketing funerals. Nearly everyone in his church is related to him. Unfortunately, yes, he's for real.

I asked a question concerning this so called "church" a couple of weeks ago. It had to do with how they protest at military funerals. These people literally make me sick. I've pretty much made up my mind that they are stark raving mad. If you've every seen them on the news, you will notice the crazed look in their eyes. It is down right scary.
