During the repair installation of XP, a message popped up saying "Windows could not load installer for WPD", and continued installing after I pressed "ok". Then, it rebooted, and then I get a blue screen with this error - "stop 0x0000007b (0xF7986528, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)". What does it mean and how can I fix it? I searched the whole net for answers to no avail, I hope someone here will be smart and kind enough to answer. Thanks a lot.

Check your memory with something like MemTest86, I suspect this is the cause.

reboot and press F8...choose recover. You're in a bad place. Nothing to do but recover.
