Deseret is a term originally derived from the Book of Mormon, a scripture of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the LDS Church) and other Latter Day Saint groups. According to the Book of Mormon, "deseret" meant "honeybee" in the language of the Jaredites, a group believed to have been led to the Americas during the time of the construction of the Tower of Babel (see Ether 2:3).

The term you are looking for is Deseret...
According to the Book of Mormon deseret means honeybee in the language of the Jaredites..
Deseret was the proposed name for Utah when the Mormons first settled there..
Deseret has become a favored name for many industrious projects (Honeybees are very industrious building hives, collecting nectar, making honey etc.) ... Deseret Industries being the most prominent one... Deseret Industries in the Mormon churches food, clothing, etc. production and distribution project.. Also under the umbrella of Deseret Industries are thrift shops (similar to Salvation Army Thrift Shops)..

Deseret or "Honey Bee" according to J Smith and the name for Utah given by the first Mormon pioneers. I think Deseret sounds nicer than Utah(with all respect to the Utes).

Desert... I always thought it was a dry, arid biome with little to no rainfall.
