I only ask this cuz I've just completed what seemed like a trilogy of dreams... My first dream was several years ago: A bunch of us were hiding underground, while some foreign army was bombing us from above. It was complete chaos, like something from a Hollywood movie. Eventually, one missile hit us directly, and I watched the ground crumble onto me & all went black...

A couple years later, I had the 2nd dream: We're in an airplane that gets shot down. As we barrel toward the earth, the oxygen masks come down & we put them on. Suddenly, ppl's faces turn green, w/ almost comical expressions, as I realize the oxygen has been replaced by poisonous gas. Shortly, I black out from it...

Then finally my 3rd related dream came the other night. We're standing on a bridge near St. Louis (where i'm from). Suddenly, I see a giant missile crash down on the Gateway Arch. It flies up, lands in the Mississippi River, and a tidal wave rises up, washing us off the bridge. I end up drowning.

How crazy is that? I've had weirder dreams before, but these are the only ones that I remember involving terrorists.. and I die in all three -- by land, air, AND water! The only other time I remember dying in a dream involved accidentally taking some pills... Has anyone had any similar terrorist dreams? Or having a series that seemed to complete itself?

Sounds like youv'e been through some traumatic experiences, perhaps a lot of upheaval.

1. Although you try to hide from chaos around you, it finds you and you had some sort of loss, it depends on what was happening then.

2. You are on your way toward doing something or perhaps just leaving a situation, but that got interrupted. Things become desperate, and you look for some kind of solace but that ends up "poisoning" you. For example someone turning to drugs but it only ends up hurting them.

3. This has to do with your time in St Louis, the age you were then has something that relates to now. A bridge represents a big step in life, such as marriage? Something happened to disrupt your life, and emotions get stirred up. There was a huge overpowering flood of emotion that took you off the bridge -- whatever that represents. You lose some aspect of your identity or a part of who you were feels like it is no more.

I had a dream from the Lord. I was looking at the US 95 and I-15 highway. A train was coming over the overpass and then a cloud appeared over the train. Then the cloud turned dark and smashed the train and the freeway underneath. People went running everywhere. Then I heard the Lord say, "I want all my metal back". A huge black hole appeared over Las Vegas and all the metal in the city was sucked up into the black hole. I had a voice say, "magnetic storm". Next, I heard the Lord say, "They can use lumber. Lumber is useful for many things". But I know part of this dream is in reference to a terrorist attack.

According to the activation-synthesis theory of dreams, the dream probably has no meaning at all. (Sorry, that may not be what you wanted to hear.)

Although dreams are influenced by our thoughts throughout the course of the day, this does not mean they are special messages to us that we should carefully consider.

Here's one perspective:

"Activation Synthesis Theory is a neurobiological theory of dreams, put forward by James Allan Hobson and Robert McCarley in 1977, which states that dreams are a random event caused by firing of neurons in the brain. This random firing sends signals to the body's motor systems, but because of a paralysis that occurs during REM sleep, the brain is faced with a paradox. It synthesizes a narrative by drawing on memory systems in an attempt to make sense of what it has experienced."

with all things awake or dreaming , it is like the elder Indian teaching his grandson, There are two wolves inside of everybody (choice) good/bad wolf and they are always competing for our attention. The grandson asks which one wins and the reply is the one you feed. This also goes along with the Law of Attraction , of what you draw into your life experiences.
