Check out this verse
vs 4
But the prudent took oil in their vessels WITH the lamps.

We're seeing oil in the Lamp and extra oil in the vessels.
What is the Vessels spiritual significance and how does it pertain to a christian to have the oil in our vessels as well as our lamp.

Some points to consider..
Man is made as a tripartite vessel.( spirit, soul, body 1 Thess 5:23 and Romans 9:23-24)

Man's spirit is a Lamp unto God. ( Prov 20:27)

God as the Holy Spirit is typified as "Oil" in the Bible.( Rom 8:16)

Ty for taking the time to answer

This is a good question.
Man is a vessel made for God (Rom. 9:21, 23-24), and man's
personality is in his soul. Hence, vessels here signifies the
souls of the believers. The five prudent virgins not only have oil in their lamps but also take oil in their vessels. That they have oil in their lamps signifies that they have the Spirit of God dwelling in their spirit (Rom. 8:9, 16), and that they take oil in their vessels signifies that they have the Spirit of God filling and saturating their souls.
If we do not enjoy the Lord in this age, and take our time to do many other things that are not what God wants. Even if we are saved in our spirit, our soul will be empty and lacking of the Lord. Let us be the overcomers today, in the age where everybody wants to be free and do whatever they want to do. We tell the Lord that we love Him as our first love. We take Him as our first place and we give Him the preeminence.

The lamp has two parts to it:

The 'vessel' is the base, or bottom portion where the oil is poured into. The lamp is the upper part that has the wick and sometimes a glass bulb. The entire thing, however, is just called a lamp.

The parable of the ten virgins is simply demonstrating that only half of God's people will actually be ready at Christ's Return (the groom). The oil is the Holy Spirit and the lamp is the Word of God. If you read the Bible without asking God for inspiration, you will not understand it, and therefore not be ready.

Greetings in the Name of The Lord, my friend!
Hey, I just had an interesting thought, supposin' the oil not only represents spiritual readiness through trials and tribulations, but also an ablility to see one's path in the darkness. The Bible speaks of the Word of God as being a Lamp and a light unto our path, right? Well, as spiritual darkness covers the earth in the last days, people without the Annointing Wisdom of God's Holy Spirit (Oil) within their own vessels(spirit), as well as 'extra' for the sake of 'Illuminating' the Word of God (Lamp), will not be able to discover or walk on the 'Narrow Path' due to the 'blinding spiritual darkness'. around them. God's Holy Spirit lights UP The WAY! , Hallelujah! His Word is like Baklavah to me! So many wonderful layers of sweet Goodness! Mmmm! Mmmmm! We'll be sharin' that bread real soon again, my sweet sister! Love in Christ,Rose

The oil sandy is the Holy Spirit of God.

Today, there are so many who walk around with their lamps and not oil.

These are they who believe with their lips, but their hearts are far from God.

How does this happen? These believers without oil are just like the ancient Israelites.

The Israelites would bring their sin offerings to the alter of God. Yet, over time, they took for granted the forgiveness of heart. What happened was they became complacent when coming to the alter of God. They would bring their offerings for sin, but yet they were not truly repenting in their hearts.

This is what has happened to so, so many believers today. They have become complacent when coming to the foot of the cross. They ask for forgivness, but are not truly repenting of the sin in their hearts.

So the ones without oil are those who have become complacent when asking for forgivness.

The ones who have the oil are those who are truly repent of their sins and desire to do the will of God because they love him.

No, no, no. you're comparing SALVATION with the "sheep and goat judgement" of the Gentiles. This "sheep and goat judgement" comes AFTER Yeshua's return, as He explains interior the verse in basic terms earlier what you have quoted: 31 “while the Son of guy is on the market in His glory, and each and all of the holy angels with Him, then he will take a seat on the throne of His glory." those "sheep" and "goats" are GENTILES who stay during the 7-twelve months Tribulation. The "goats" are judged responsible and condemned to eternal punishment; the "sheep" are permitted to stay and maintain their human bodies. This judgement is thoroughly diverse than the judgement confronted by potential of folk who've already died (the two righteous and unrighteous). for this reason, Heaven isn't the subject right here; yet eternal existence on a perfected earth IS the subject. With this innovations in innovations, the muse of the judgement turns into greater sparkling: Gentiles who've secure, comforted, fed and clothed the persecuted Jewish human beings during the Tribulation are the "sheep." Gentiles who've persecuted the Jews in this time are the "goats." there's a real-existence parallel: for the period of WWII, some Gentiles did each little thing they might to guard the Jews; others did not something and stood by potential of like cowards. it's going to be the comparable subject during the Tribulation, in basic terms on a plenty bigger scale.

I think that the oil represents our faith.
The five bridesmaids who have the extra oil represent the truly born again who are looking with eagerness to the coming of Christ. They have saving faith and have determined that whatever occurs, be it lengthy time or adverse circumstances, when Jesus returns, they will be looking with eagerness

No offense intended.
But, I believe it means no more than the wise ones were ready while the foolish ones were not.
