What if you meet someone who has also had their heart broken? It's like having a baby, many women swear that they'll never go through that again....18 months later...
We are resilient creatures, and like moths to the flame we cannot deny our desire to love and be loved, not matter how many times we get burnt.

Yes. I had my heart shattered when my partner told me he didn't know if he loved me anymore, he went away to "find himself" and after time i realised that i didn't need him like i thought i did. I met someone who i now trust with all my heart because he has given me reason to. You will trust again, it just takes the right sort of person to make you believe it. Don't tar all men with the same brush, there are some really good ones out there.

i quote: u wont fall in love if u dont fall at all. u gotta trust to love. I hope u dont expect to spend the rest of ur life not letting anyone in to ur heart? I mean if ur really worried bout gettin hurt which will ultimatly happen again at sum point then get a dog, they are less complicated then humans and u can share ur wildest secrets with them, just good luck with the conversation. (hope u caught the sarcasm)

Thats like saying can someone ever love You if theyve been in love once before. OF COurse you can. Dont tar everyone with the same brush. Its not fair. YOu might meet the man of your dreams and blow him out because your heart got shattered 2 yrs previous. Not all men are pigs. You gotta sift the good from the bad. It comes with wisdom, and experience. Youl get there. x

This is a hard question cause I am in the same spot. Its hard I have a boyfriend now and he wonders about the things I think. He says hes different but then ya I have heard that before. But my best advice is to just open your heart and try cause you dont want to ruin a good relationship so I am trying its hard just try to remember not all men are the same and some really want to find love like you .

Ahhhh....
well.... TRUST is interesting, and dont think that complete trust has anything to do with having your heart broken, cos that normally related to having faith that someone wont break it...
i would say YES - absolutely you can Trust someone again... but is it the same person or someone different????

It's very hard but yes.
My partner who i'm with now broke my heart badly quite a while back, she didn't do anything wrong but finish with me when i thought we was getting on so well, love is blind haha. anyways we split up for about a month but got back together and now we have been better than ever and we are both happy (i think) lol. for ages after i was trying to keep my distance because i didn't want something like that to happen again but now i know she did it for the right reason and it was something that had to be done for both of us and im glad she did it now.

Yes you can, after time's past and your ready for that step to give the next person the chance. If your not ready to give someone the chance to trust them your not ready for a relationship quite yet.

Well, I have. I had a a few nasty boyfriends before I met my fiance, and he suffered because of my insecurities. But with his loyalty, support and love I am getting better at trusting him. It takes time and a lot of patience, love and support from a good partner, but I think anyone can heal their trust given time, opportunity, willingness and support.
