First of all the writer of Hebrews is talking about priesthood and how Jesus is the only one that can fulfill that position in chapters 5-6. verses 4-6 in chapter 6:
For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened,
and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away,[b] to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.
this is basically saying it is IMPOSSIBLE for those who have accepted christ to 'fall away"(lose thier salvation) because if it were possible then Jesus would have to come back to Earth and die on the cross again
John 10:27-30 says:
27 My sheep(1) hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.(2) 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”
1)"My sheep" being christians
2)"neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand" meaning no one can take christians away from Jesus meaning christians can't loose their salvation.
i hope this helped you out!

“once enlightened” (verse 4) refers to some level of instruction in biblical truth. However, understanding the words of scripture is not the same as being regenerated by the Holy Spirit. For example, John 1:9 describes Jesus, the “true Light,” giving light “to every man”; but this cannot mean the light of salvation, because not every man is saved. Through God’s sovereign power, every man has enough light to be held responsible. This light either leads to the complete acceptance of Jesus Christ or produces condemnation in those who reject such light. The people described in Hebrews 6:4-6 are of the latter group—unbelievers who have been exposed to God’s redemptive truth and perhaps have made a profession of faith, but have not exercised genuine saving faith.
“tasted the heavenly gift” (Hebrews 6:9) is referring to a momentary experience, akin to Jesus’ “tasting” death (Hebrews 2:9). This brief experience with the heavenly gift is not seen as equivalent to salvation; rather, it is likened to the second and third soils in Jesus’ parable (Matthew 13:3-23), which describes people who receive the truth of the gospel but are not truly saved.
“falling away” (Hebrews 6:6) is a reference to those who have tasted the truth but, not having come all the way to faith, fall away from even the revelation they have been given. The tasting of truth is not enough to keep them from falling away from it. They must come all the way to Christ in complete repentance and faith; otherwise, they in effect re-crucify Christ and treat Him contemptuously. Those who sin against Christ in such a way have no hope of restoration or forgiveness because they reject Him with full knowledge and conscious experience. They have concluded that Jesus should have been crucified, and they stand with His enemies. It is impossible to renew such to repentance.

Sooo, your saying that some one could be saved, and then go back into the world and sin worse than before?, And then pass into the next life, clean as a whistle? No, I don't think so. Willfully sinning after you've known Him counteracts past good works. Heb 6:4-6 means like, if you've tasted the milk and honey of His love, and His spirit, and simply, ( at some point) told Him your not interested, He's a liar, and you don't want anything to do with Him again, that's what He's talking about. Just the fact that your inquiring about this, and your interested shows me your NOT in that boat. Come Home.

Those verses are saying that if someone has heard the gospel preached by the ministry of the Holy Spirit and rejects it then they have rejected the only way to be saved. Tasting the heavenly gift relates to the ministry of the Holy Spirit in His capacity to convict of sin and lead to repentance. That is also how one becomes a partaker of the Holy Spirit. All ministry in the world to sinners that is of God is done by the Holy Spirit and nobody can be saved without His convicting power. Many are convicted but go no further, sadly. I hope this is helpful.

Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
These verses are written for the Jews during the tribulation period. If they take the mark, hate their brother etc.. they can lose their salvation. No doubt
They are not to us today in this dispensation.
Any other explanation shows a lack of knowledge of the Bible.

The problem is this -- if this is true, then it would be impossible to blaspheme as most people define blasphemy (to know the truth but deny it and ascribe it to evil forces).
However, Jesus went out of his way to teach that blasphemy is unforgivable. If it wasn't even possible to commit, it would have been entirely irrelevant and one thing I'll grant Jesus as described in the NT -- he did not teach on that which was irrelevant.

This is referring to one who has apostasies. If they do, then if they repent, they can be be forgiven, but they turned their backs on God and no longer believe in what Christ did on the cross. The only way any person can truly repent is to place faith in Christ and the Cross, if that is denied, then there is no Repentance. There is no such thing as "once saved always saved". If that was the case, what about Judas. He was considered their "brother". That was a term only given to those who were "saved". No man can "pluck" anyone from the hands of God, but guess what, one can remove himself from God.

Chris gave you a Calvinist answer, yet denies being Calvinist. So Chris is incorrect. The word is "lose," by using the way. And "their" isn't spelled "thier." attempt some spell checking. besides, believing you may lose your salvation makes God ineffective and a shlep. believe what you like.

If a person believes WHOLE-HEARTEDLY that Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us all from our sin, and accept Him as their personal savior, THOU SHALL BE SAVED!! ALL have fallen short of the glory of GOD...there is none righteous...NO NOT ONE!! It is not possible for one to lose their salvation!

It just says we can fall away from God. If we do so and refuse to come back to God. We will lose our salvation.
