There was this guy I really like and then I moved and when I got invited to go to the dance there and he came over and we talked for a couple minutes (which he had never done to any other girl), and the next day I called him and asked him to go Trick-or-Treating and he said maybe. I didn't give him my number or anything so a couple days before Halloween, I called him and left a message and he didn't call back, so now I'm scared to go to the next dance because I'm so embarrassed but I want to go at the same time. If I end up going, what should I do? Should I ignore him? I'm really shy, too. Did I mess up? What should I do??????

Hmm sounds like a typical guy to me!! Obviously isn't worth your time. When you called him back and left him a message did you leave your number? Well Im sorry to tell you but if he was really interested he might have called but as you get older you will learn that men are impossible and you will never understand them and why they do the things they do! Guys like him are like the wind, they blow in and out again, and never know what they had. Girl, I can tell you, he'll do the same to someone else. It ain't about you, so don't be so hard on yourself. Dont call him anymore but Go to that dance because you want to and don't let him stop you!!! And when you do go just act like what he did didnt bother you!! If he talks to you tho be very casual and dont ask him why he didnt call!! Leave that to him if he brings it up and apologizes, accept it but he has some proving to do to you!! If he doesnt bring it up or anything then dont bother your time on him!! It sounds like you might be in Jr High or High School. Don't get worked up over this one guy. It might seem like he's your whole world right now, but there are going to be lots of opportunities to meet people, and if he's not the one, it's not a big deal.
Go to the dance, have fun, and don't ignore him. If he is ignoring you, ask him to dance, because he might just be nervous or, like most guys, afraid to ask a girl to dance.

Maybe he was busy. Things happen to stop me from making phone calls too. Sounds like you are a little demanding.
Go to the dance and have fun. Be yourself if you see him ... that IS nice, isn't it? He will ignore you if you put the pressure on.

You didn't mess up. I bet your a perfect girl. Any guy would want you. If he doesn't want you then don't mind him. If he stays nice and talks to you, don't be shy! Even he doesn't like you, go to the dance anyway. I go with friends all the time!

You didn't mess up! It is his fault for not calling you back. You should go to that dance and have fun but don't ignore him because he might give you a second chance and you two could be a real cute couple.

i,d go. you could simply start a conversation with him
and not say anything about the message you left on the
tape machine. who knows, tape machines do malfunction, he
may not have got your message. don,t say that to him.
