Have her fixed. There is an overpopulation of cats right now. Don't add to the problem. Black cats are not uncommon or a special breed. Breeding should only be done by professional breeders trying to continue a pure bred line, and better the breed.

There is no profit in cats, and even if you did manage to find a home for the kittens, that is a home you are taken away from the millions of cats in the shelters without a home. Thousands of cats are killed daily because of limited resources and a lack of homes for them.

There are many health benefits to fixing your cat, so have it done as soon as she is old enough (about 3-5 months).

I vote for get her fixed too. Too many cats out there without homes, and no guarantee she'll have black kittens either. Most domestic cats have mixed-color kittens. Some will be black, some might have stripes or patched.
Either way, fixing her is the right thing to do. It's good for her health in the long term anyway.

ummmm, I have about 10 solid black cats in my feral colony. There is nothing special about black cats, in fact it is harder to adopt them out. My rescue group will not even adopt out black cats in the month of October because of all the crazies, then there are all those old wives tales that make people not want to own a black cat. They are the hardest cats to adopt out. When I worked at the SPCA any black cat that came in would automatically be put down (with the exception of longhairs) because it wasn't worth the time and money to put into them when we knew they wouldn't be adopted.

Then there is my personal creed--If you don't rescue, don't breed.

Fix her. There are too many cats without homes right now. You can almost certainly find another black cat at the shelter. Your cat will also be happier if she is spayed.

Have her fixed. The are a lot of black cats/kittens. They are hard to adopt out because they are just solid color kittens. I see kittens/cats at adoption shelters and the solid ones are usually last to go.

Have you ever heard about people very seldom choosing black animals especially cats.I would have her fixed for this reason alone. There are so many homeless kittens out there, you would be doing her and yourself a favor.

Fix her. Cats actually live longer when they're fixed.

She should definitely be fixed. It is much better for her longterm health. Cats who have even had one heat cycle or produced one litter are much more prone to have mammary cancer later in life.

You don't want that for her or you.
