about an hour, but you can also cook them on the stove top for about 45 minutes... I usually cook them in the crockpot. I make them the night before, and in the morning, throw them in the crockpot all day while i am at work! mmmm they sound soooooooo good!!!!!!!

i think you usually bake them for about 35-45 minutes.
your cabbage leaves should already be blanched. and your meat and rice mixture should already be cooked. so it is just a matter of adding the meat to the cabbage rolling it up and then putting the sauce over the top.
so you are basically just heating it through.
for the tomato sauce, try adding a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar. it really steps up the cabbage rolls.

you cook the inside ingredients before putting them in cabbage and you boil the cabbage to get it soft enough to roll it up and put toothpicks in then put tomato paste over them and cook for 20 minutes.

I bake it for an hour if you are making it with sauce and rice . I bake it at 325 .
