You can believe in a lot of Gods and it may work alright for you. But I believe that there is a universal spirit that holds this universe together as one. That represents harmonious and constructive energy spiritually. I believe these Gods, man creates with his beliefs, that are all different, become real in the spiritual realm, when enough people believe, and function as intermediary spirits, that help us connect with this universal spirit. They work as well as they represent God' s qualities. Having one God, can give one more of a focus, than having many.

1 Corinthians 8:5-6 says there are many gods and many lords but to Christians there is only one true God,Jehovah, and one true Lord, Jesus Christ.

This points out anything can be a god to someone. whatever is the main thing in their lives is a god to them. Be it money, power, TV, sports or whatever.
