The bible says never return evil for evil. The remorse you feel is because you knew you shouldn't have done that.

"Getting someone back" is the biggest waste of time and energy on the planet. As long as you are planning on "getting someone back," you're obsessively locked onto something you perceive as a wrong done to you. You think of yourself, and the wrong, and the wrong-doer. That way, you miss a lot of the more pleasant offerings of life.

God held grudges in the Old Testament with out feeling any remorse. So I guess it is alright for us also.

I think Bas says it best, " I don't believe in an eye for an eye, I believe in two eye's for an eye."

But I don't think that applies to people that offend you. So what if you were offended, you shouldn't let it bother so much that you conceive a plan to get revenge.

Sure it can be normal, it depends on how sensitive your feelings are. And just for next time, you don't have to 'get someone back' for something that they've done to you, God will fer surely take care of it for ya! =] He says, "I will curse those who have curseth others".

The remorse you feel is your conscience. It is never ok to hurt someone on purpose.
