You raise a very interesting point. "God doesn't exist, how could God let Hurricane Katrina happen?" is a contradiction. If there's no God, then something that didn't exist could not have caused a hurricane (or any other problem they wish to blame the God they say doesn't exist on).

I think it boils down to this: there are people who do NOT want to believe in God, and they need justification for their unbelief. So the silly notion of not believing in God because something bad happened is their "excuse" for not accepting Him.

I have asked people in chat rooms who ask that question (e.g., "where was God on 9/11?") where THEY were the day before. I never have received an answer.

Blessing. fantastic question, because of the fact we are certain by making use of sin this is our nature this is something we gained't administration; ever one sin the two in one way or in yet another, and confirm to God a sin is a sin, we gained't conquer our sinful nature till our Lord return man or woman would be sinning, God stated that for the time of His words approximately mankind. and he's no longer a liar , all of us have tragedy, trials , sufferings , and temptations, we prefer God in those issues circumstances because of the fact's a try of our faith. some human beings do pass over board sinning, God is a God of love and forgiveness he will forgive our sins if we repent, this is the reason we are below is grace we prefer Him in our on a regular basis stroll. there is purely one sin that the Lord will in no way forgive us, because of the fact this sin isn't hide below the blood of Christ and this is Blaspheming against the Holy Spirit of God, God say anybody that devote this sin is already condemn for eternity in this life time and interior the subsequent to come back.

All people (including the atheist) calls to God in their grief but what God? If they sin and do whatever they will, then they're not worshiping God, for the Scriptures say "we cannot sin" if we worship the True God.

Who sins willingly and cries out to God at the same time? Most people can't chew gum and walk at the same time.

From ages before "There are no atheists in foxholes". In times of glee and riches, no one wonders who might have bestowed such greatness upon one: One deserves it because of : hard work; right thinking; because I'm me. Similar as when people are involved in accidents and cry out; we forget the moments we avoided 10 other accidents.
Failure is an orphan...

Not me.

I say it all the time.

When something good happens and people praise God, that is fine as long as they do it all the other times too, when (their alleged) God makes things go badly for them too.

The only answer to this question that makes any sense in this cruel and uncaring universe is: "Nowhere, it is all in your mind."

I'm sorry, but several people call out "Oh god" during sex. So they do call out to him when they are sinning (if you want to call it that)

I don't. In fact I did the opposite. I woke up from a very scary and hellish dream one time and called on Jesus, and Jesus only, to help me.
