A tool needed for lager scale floor tile installation?

Im going to install tiles in a large area- someone mentioned that I needed a "Grid"- some kind of a tile spacer tool of some sort- does anyone have any information on where to find this grid or how it exaclty works? thanks for your help

I am not familiar with a tool like that. I've seen "grids" (on paper) used as reference for tile placement but otherwise I've only seen spacers used. Check out the Tile Council Of America website below. You can always email them and ask if such a thing exists.
