Viewing Past Returns - Turbotax?

For my 2006 tax returns, I used a program called Turbotax. Now, my daughter is off to college and we need to view our 2006 file to submit the information for a CSS profile. Every time I log into turbotax I am directed to a screen that asks me for billing information and shipping information. Does this mean I have to buy the program again to see my past years forms? Is there any way to see my past years forms? Thanks for your help in advance.

You need to call 1-800-829-1040 and request a transcript to be mailed to you (FREE) and then you can send it to the college. \
Or visit IRS website (www.irs.gov) download form 4506-T and fax to number provided
The colleges, financial aids, loan offices want an original copy of the transcript of what was actually filed with the IRS.

Did you use the desktop software or the online version?

If you used the desktop software, you should've been prompted to generate a PDF file at the end of the filing process. You can probably find that file in the TurboTax folder created for installing the software.

If you used the online version, log into your Intuit account (it should cover any activity you've had w/ them, including Quicken and TurboTax). Click on Access Prior-Year Returns, enter your login info, and it will pull up a list of returns (in PDF format) you've generated under that account.

With Turbotax closed, find the file for your daughters tax return and click on that and see if it will open the program with the need return loaded.
