Thanks everyone..I loved it..very romantic..I met mine on the school bus when I was 15 and he 16....I asked my girl friend if she would tell that guy sitting over there that I would like a date with him..she did and he said he did not date gilrs in grade school....I was in the 10 grade....She told him how old I was and he dated me and we have been together ever since. . I felt I was on another planet when kissing him in the moon light....I get carried away when the moon is full......And with the moon shining on him he was the most dreamy, sexy creature God ever made...Oh my gosh!!! He knows how I love the moon light....A lake runs about 8 blocks long in back of our house and we like to park the truck by the lake and make love in the moon light..in the back of the truck. wtih the frogs, crickets, and locust serenading us.and the moon beaming down on us...God you are so awesome......

The first time I saw my wife to be in a pizza parlor, I told my friend I am going to marry that girl with the bow in her hair. He said "sure you are". I met that girl 8 months later and we fell in love overnight. After 3 weeks I told her I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. We were married 5 months after we met and were married for almost 38 years before she died. Her wedding band was in the shape of a bow. She was and always be the love of my life and the bow keeps us tied together with forever closeness.

We actually met here on-line. And we're not weirdos or people skimming the on-line world for love every day. We honestly were great friends and had the best laughs and conversations together. Especially since we're both parents, we had a lot to talk about. And he's an aussie so we had a lot of fun with the lingo. One day I decided to go for a visit and meet my friend and he's now my best friend and we're getting married in the next year or so. the first time he kissed me and I felt his hand touch mine I knew he was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. The chances of meeting someone that amazing in real life is pretty slim in my opinion, but to meet them on-line, really unheard of I think. I'm the happiest and luckiest woman in the world though, even if we did meet in an unconventional way. We've been 12,0000 miles away for a year and share a closeness some people who sleep in the same bed every night dont share. Im definitely a lucky woman.....

This is how I met a long-time college boyfriend. I think it's very romantic.

We met over the telephone. I had some concert tickets for sale and put an announcement on a local radio station. We talked for weeks before we actually saw each other face to face.

The hardest part was that we had to go to the concert with other people (yes, he bought the tickets from me).

We were together for quite a few years.

well i am a 28 year old girl who is happily married to a husband. We met at Washington D.C and started dating write away. I work as a forensic anthropologist at the Smithsonian medical lab. My husband , Dale, actually works as a tour guide there. Of course we work in different buildings, but the staff meetings are all together. That was when we first saw each other. After the boss let us go he walked over and started talking. We talked on and on til about 7 and then he asked if i wanted to go to Jaleo's. So i said yes, i mean who can say now to big blue eyes??????? well we where going out for about a year before we got engaged. He called me up and asked if i would meet him in the park at 9:30. When i got there it was pretty dark, and then i saw him. he was standing near the slide with a paper in his hand. He handed me the paper, it turned out to be a map. The map lead me to the ring.
When we finally got married two months later we flew to New York. We got married over the falls. it was so romantic....... Then we flew back to D.C for a week before going on our honny moon. When it came time we flew to Tahiti and spent a month there. Now we're back to living our normal lives. But for Christmas we plan to fly over to the keys

Nothing romantic here, she was a teacher at the pre-school my best friend had his kid enrolled in. I was riding with him one day, and we stopped to pick up the kid. I met this increadibly beautiful young woman and thought "well, she's way out of my league..." She doesn't even remember it. But, a few months later we were dating, then engaged, and another year later we were married. It's been 17 years, now.

It's not romantic but...I meet my boyfriend (Tim) at the bowling alley. I had just found out my last boyfriend was a dog so I was trying to see how many numbers I could get in one night! So I got about 3 and Tim's was one of them and that was about 4 years ago and we are still together.

I met my husband when we were in high school, but we didn't know that we were supposed to be together. He was painfully shy and he was one of my bf brothers.
About 20 years down the line, after I had been married and divorced, we met again. We have been together for 8 years (married for 6)

We met through a mutual friend. We were both headed to a common destination so shared a ride, and got to know each other over the course of the drive.

We'll be celebrating our 30th anniversary next April.
