Ok we just called him and he said that for the age of our 20 year old dog, it is normal

I assume you mean seizures. Most seizures can be controlled by affordable medications from your vet. If they aren't controlled serious complications can occur. Make an appt. to discuss this with your vet.

Seizures are "normal" for dogs with epilepsy, brain tumors, etc.. Still, they need to be controlled. It doesn't matter how old your dog is... the important thing is trying to keep the quality of life. That being said, take the dog to the vet. If your vet really said it is normal... find a new vet. It is no life for a dog to always be having seizures.

Some seizures are not life threatening and some are. Only a vet can determine, through testing, what is causing the seizures and how serious they are.

seizures? have you taken your dog to the vet to figure out why the dog has seizures? how old is your dog? seizures can be caused by any number of things from epillepsy, hypothyroidism, addisons, brain tumor, toxicity...

need more details.

Have you taken it to the vet?

The vet can give you much better information regarding seizures and your dog than we can.

Not necessarily.
Just as human beings have seizures, bats, dogs, cats and monkeys can all have seizures.
You should probably check with a veterinarian.

Seizures??? GO TO A VET!!!! They have meds to control them!!!!!

And it is "dying". They can die, as in FRY the brain if you don't do something to control them!!!!!!
