Try this

GLAZED HAM STEAK

1 1/4 lb. ham steak
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1/3 - 1/2 c. pineapple juice

Place ham steak in baking pan. Sprinkle brown sugar and dry mustard over ham. Pour 1/3 to 1/2 cup pineapple juice over ham. Bake at 350 degrees about 15-20 minutes.

Another way to do your ham steak is to place it in a pan (assuming it's already cooked and just needs to be heated), place a ring of pineapple on the ham, place a scoop of mashed cooked yams (like from a can) on top of the pineapple and top it all off with a marshmallow. Place it under the broiler and cook until the marshmallow is toasted - turns light brown. Done! This is a great way to use up leftover candied yams from Thanksgiving.

Totally. Or you can throw it in a pan and bake it for 10 minutes at 400 degrees. It's already cooked, all you're doing is heating it.

yes, that is how I cook them. I cook them over medium heat until heated through. if the ham steak is already cooked, you just need to heat it up. If it hasn't been cooked yet, cook according to the instructions. Good luck!

You sure can. Pour some coffee in the pan to deglaze, and you've got red eye gravy. I always cut it into chunks and throw it into the crock pot with a batch of beans.

Yes, but I recommend putting it in the oven or broiler instead. I put mine in the broiler with a little bit of butter or honey for six minutes on each side.

You can use a fry pan.
I prefer to put them under the grill in the oven.

Yes, you can just heat it in a skillet. Make a honey mustard sauce and pour over it.
