ok so im 17 and i hav never been out with a girl, i have always had friends that are girls, but i have never felt inclined romantically towards them. about a year ago i met this girl through playing sport with her and her mum and we have become really close since then, they come round like every other weekend we see them at least 3 or 4 times a week and every time i see her at school we always say at least hi. When we get a chance to talk properly, we can talk for ages. We recently went on holiday with them and me and this girl spent like all our time, be it in the swimming pool, watching a movie, playing tennis, or just lazing about. over that week i really fell for her as she is good fun and just the sort of girl that i like. When we were on holiday we were sort of flirting with each other, like playin tig, and just generally fooling about. She feels quite content to drag me about as if i were her bf but we are not going out. please continue reading

then the other day i was helping her to move house and she asked me if i wanted to stay at her house for a bit, to watch tv and walk the dogs, feed her horse, so i did. Then her and her mum came back to have dinner with my family and there she just seemed to be enjoying my company as we spent ages just playing with my puppy together and watching tv. My problem is she is 5 years younger than me and i dont know how to approach the whole situation as i really like her and i am pretty certain she likes me in the same way i know some people will think that age difference is too big but i cant help how i feel some advice would make me very grateful to anyone that does help
