Depends...

Most times, people will see clearer with their contact lenses. This is because they sit directly on the eye, rather than in front of it. Also, because they sit directly on your eye, you will have full peripheral vision, whereas with glasses, you don't.

Now, if you have a little bit of astigmatism you contacts may not correct for this, so in this case some people may see better out of their contacts than they do out of their glasses.

Also, with multi-focal lenses (for those needing bifocals) glasses will also usually be better. Monovision contact lens patients (where they wear a Rx for distance in their dominant eye and a reading Rx in their other) lose a lot of their intermediate range (arms length to 12 feet) And I've found that multi-focal contact lenses aren't much better, so generally they suffice for most people, but they don't compare to a good pair of progressive (no-line) bifocals, or regular bifocals.

**Edit** RGP lenses (rigid gas permeable) are better for your eyes because they allow the most oxygen through, although they are not the most comfortable lenses and can be difficult to get used to. RGP lenses aren't as popular these days and the patients that wear them in the office that I work in, have worn them for years and years. Once you are used to them, they are great. They tend to slow down the changes in your vision somewhat because the lenses reshape your cornea. But they are no where near as comfortable as soft lenses, which is one reason why people (and eye doctors) have gotten away from them. They are special ordered, and also can be tricky to fit for, especially new fits.

Hard contacts do give clearer vision than soft contacts but they can be next to impossible to get used to. I got a pair over a decade ago and I would like to wear them but they hurt and I never stop feeling like I have something in my eyes.

Contacts don't fog up when entering a humid area or in the rain. Hard lenses must be removed daily, and are harder to be infested with germs. I grew up with the, so they are no problem for me! You should talk to an ophthalmologist for better answers though!

Glasses can have a glare, fog up, and scratch. I prefer soft contacts. They're really comfortable. They're fine to wear as long as you keep them clean. Take them out at night and wash/store them with solution.

i would say both, but if your always in a rush i would recommend glasses cause you dont have to take it off and clean it and store it daily.
