Sure, why not? Though, technically by default, if you love Jesus you're considered a Christian.

I'm not a Christian...I also don't love Jesus, though. I never knew the man and he's been dead for all most two thousand years...I suppose maybe had I lived in Judea around the turn of the calender I would have met him, and perhaps grown to love him. All though, Latin is my one true love in life, I would have probably been a Roman and wanted to kill him...

First of all you have to define Jesus .There is some proof that he is a combination of several "messiah figures" from the period . Also you then have to figure out exactly what he did and said as much of the writings were fictional , altered or destroyed . Then you have to figure out what you mean by loving a dead person you never met . Some things they said Jesus said , like the sermon on the mount , have many parts to like . But I save "love" for those people I truely know .

Yes. I am not a Christian in any sense of the word. However, I have met Jesus twice and it has been life altering both times. I would say, if asked, that I love Jesus. He is a close friend and a companion on the path to enlightenment. He came to me when my life was spiraling out of control and helped me find myself.

With Love

If you are Christian, you love the right Jesus. The right Jesus for Christians is the same who is also God of Abraham.

Sure. I am not Christian by any current day standards but I do subscribe to the teachings of Jesus. I am a fan. It is the dogmas and religion that was built up around him that I don't like.

Well, I'm not Christian, and I don't know if I'd go so far as to say I "love" Jesus. "Love" is putting it a little strongly. After all, he died 2000 years before I was born, and I only know of his ideas through hearsay.

I "admire" Jesus.

I just hate what many of his followers have done.

If you love Jesus and obey him, and you have asked him to lead your life and forgive you, I would gather it is okay. It IS about a personal relationship with Jesus and not humanities definition of Christian. The word Christian, like most words, has taken on a twist of definitions from various groups and denominations, making it confusing. To be a Christian is to be modeling your life as Christ Jesus did and receiving salvation from him through your faith in him.

Simple answer: Yes.

Not so simple answer:
Muslims love Jesus even though we are not "Christian". We love him because by definition of the word Muslim he is a Muslim as we are and a highly respected prophet of God as well.

You can be anything that you want. Jesus never made these rules. It's religion that did. Just follow Jesus, not a particular religion.
